Autism & Neurodiversity Support

Supporting individuals in ways that respect who they are

We provide ongoing psychological support for Autistic and neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan. Our goal is not to change who someone is, but to help them better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and build on their strengths in meaningful, practical ways.

Whether someone has a formal diagnosis or is simply exploring how they think and experience the world, support is tailored to the individual’s needs, goals, and stage of life.

Who we support

  • Children, teens, and adults
  • Individuals with a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, or other neurodevelopmental differences
  • Individuals who identify as neurodivergent without a formal diagnosis
  • Parents and caregivers looking for guidance and support

What support may look like

Sessions are collaborative, practical, and individualized. Depending on the person, support may include:

  • Emotional regulation and managing overwhelm
  • Anxiety and stress management
  • Executive functioning (organization, planning, task completion)
  • Social communication and relationship navigation
  • Building self-awareness and self-advocacy skills
  • Navigating school, work, and daily life demands
  • Support during transitions (e.g., school changes, postsecondary, employment)

We also work with parents and caregivers to provide strategies that can be implemented at home and in everyday routines.

Our approach

Our work is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming approach. This means:

  • We view neurodivergence as a difference, not a deficit
  • We focus on reducing distress and barriers, not “fixing” the individual
  • We prioritize practical strategies that work in real life
  • We collaborate closely with clients and families

We integrate evidence-based approaches while adapting them to fit each individual’s learning style, communication preferences, and goals.

How this fits with assessment

Many individuals come to us after completing a psychological assessment, while others are still exploring whether an assessment is needed.

  • If you’ve already completed an assessment, we can help translate results into practical next steps
  • If you’re unsure about assessment, we can help guide that decision
  • Support can stand alone or complement ongoing assessment work

Session options

  • Individual sessions (children, teens, adults)
  • Parent/caregiver consultation sessions
  • Combination of both, depending on needs

Virtual and in-person sessions are available.
