Shannon is a dedicated Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, youth, and their families. Shannon has worked within a variety of community and clinical settings throughout her career with a passion for creating safe, inclusive spaces.
Clinically, Shannon takes on a humanistic approach to psychotherapy and believes that we all deserve our voices to be heard, valued, and supported. Using a non-judgmental, compassionate approach Shannon works collaboratively with her clients to set goals and work through their identified needs. Through both work and lived experiences, Shannonunderstands how important a sense of community is as well as embracing one’s own autonomy.
Shannon’s experience includes, but is not limited to, working with individuals who are facing life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, interpersonal relationship difficulties, self-esteem management, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Shannon hopes that when you join counselling with her that you will gain a deeper understanding of your needs, gain new strategies and skills, as well as gain a new perspective on bringing balance to your overall mental wellness.
